Karen Williams Head of Marketing & Marketing Automation Practice Lead
Karen brings 15+ years of both marketing strategy and marketing execution experience to CloudMasonry as lead for our Marketing Automation Practice.
She is passionate about enabling our clients to realize the full potential of their marketing automation platforms, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, powered by Pardot.
Most recently, Karen oversaw CRM & Digital Marketing initiatives for Publix Super Markets, a Fortune 100 organization, where she and her team supported the technical execution of customer loyalty programs within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, supporting web and email channels for over 4.5MM active subscribers. This included the architecture and implementation of customer communication journeys for welcome, acquisition, and ongoing customer engagement.
By designing, launching, and optimizing marketing campaigns in Marketing Cloud, she and her team were able to foster a high degree of personalization and focus on driving 1:1 customer communications which contributed to long-term loyalty, positive lifetime value, and incremental corporate brand equity.
These programs included unique customer communications based on transaction history, segmented customer offers, as well as communications related to abandoned browse and abandoned cart.
This also led to insights leveraged for primary and secondary research and results which informed strategic recommendations for enhancements to current and future marketing programs.
Prior to that, Karen led personalized direct marketing strategies within the financial vertical, encompassing work within the direct to consumer mortgage space, as well as many years leading enterprise level marketing strategy and account management projects within the retail banking industry – both on the client and agency sides of the business.
Karen graduated from Georgia State University, J. Mack Robinson College of Business with a BBA in Marketing.
