ABOUT CLIENT

Smash Park is an entertainment venue brand combining food, drinks, and social games, delivering a tech-enabled guest experience through a mobile app, loyalty rewards, and personalized events across multiple locations.

NEED

Smash Park’s multi-location expansion created data fragmentation challenges, with essential operational and customer information siloed across Toast, Tripleseat, Repeat Returns, and their own app. To enable accurate reporting, targeted marketing, and a unified guest experience, they needed an integrated data infrastructure to consolidate these sources for analytics and automation.

APPROACH

CloudMasonry designed and implemented an integration architecture using MuleSoft, Google BigQuery, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Built custom MuleSoft applications to extract and load data from third-party APIs and webhooks, including Repeat Returns, Toast, Tripleseat, and app-based Firebase data.
  • Funneled consolidated data into BigQuery for real-time reporting and into Salesforce Marketing Cloud for targeted campaigns based on guest behavior.
  • Implemented cloud functions to stream app events, established delta-based loading strategies, and configured retry logic and error handling for system resilience.

OUTCOME

Smash Park now operates from a unified, automated data ecosystem anchored by a centralized BigQuery data warehouse. With integrated data flows and automated marketing campaigns based on real-time guest behavior, the team spends less time on manual data work and more time on the guest experience. The infrastructure scales with new locations, so the team can expand confidently without rebuilding integrations each time.

  • All guest, event, and transaction data consolidated from Toast, Tripleseat, Repeat Returns, and the Smash Park app into one system.
  • Automated marketing campaigns triggered by real-time guest behavior rather than manual list pulls.
  • Reduced manual reporting effort with centralized BigQuery dashboards.
  • Integration architecture designed to scale as new locations open.
