Spring Health provides employers with a tech-enabled mental health platform, connecting employees and their families with a network of providers to deliver evidence-based care.
NEED
Spring Health’s provider management infrastructure was holding back operational growth. Rate data was stored directly on provider records, which left no way to make regional or entity-specific adjustments. Onboarding and rate adjustments ran manually, with no versioning and no audit trail, creating bottlenecks and putting billing compliance at risk. The platform needed to support complex provider hierarchies, group practices, and multi-entity billing before the business could expand into new regions.
APPROACH
CloudMasonry embedded technical experts within Spring Health’s own development lifecycle to overhaul the payment architecture, working inside the client’s release cadence rather than alongside it.
- Designed a new data model supporting multi-region rate cards, replacing rate data stored on provider records.
- Implemented custom objects with effective dating and field-level tracking, giving the business versioning and an audit trail.
- Delivered automated provider onboarding flows to remove the manual bottleneck.
- Built Lightning Web Components for capability management and screen flows for validation.
- Integrated external billing systems and updated third-party DocuSign templates to pull rate data dynamically.
OUTCOME
Platform modernization changed how Spring Health runs provider operations. A multi-entity rate card architecture made regional expansion and complex billing possible, automated onboarding and custom capability management cut errors and duplicate data entry, and field-level tracking on Entity Rate Cards improved billing accuracy and compliance.
