ABOUT CLIENT
VIZIO designs and manufactures consumer electronics, best known for its high-definition televisions and audio equipment, with a Platform Ad Sales business operating across the connected TV market.
NEED
VIZIO’s Platform Ad Sales team was working across a fragmented technology landscape spanning Inscape and SmartCast, with manual processes and disjointed CRM systems sitting between them. To scale and secure revenue growth in the connected TV market, the business needed to unify order management, forecasting, and billing rather than continue reconciling them by hand.
APPROACH
CloudMasonry delivered a phased transformation to unify VIZIO’s dual Salesforce instances, establishing a media-focused foundation before building revenue management on top of it.
- Phase One consolidated the Inscape and Platform orgs into a single instance built on Salesforce Media Cloud.
- Phase Two deployed Salesforce CPQ with bi-directional synchronization, automating order, financial, and revenue management.
- Phase Three completed the ecosystem with Salesforce Billing, delivering an end-to-end quote-to-cash process across all advertising and media operations.
- Successive billing releases and enhancements extended the platform as VIZIO’s advertising business grew, including programmatic redesign, cash application, and insertion order ingestion.
VIZIO’s advertising and media operations run on a single connected platform, with quote-to-cash automated from order through billing. What began as an org consolidation has run continuously since 2021, with CloudMasonry supporting and extending the environment through successive releases as the connected TV business has scaled.
